What to Expect on Your Ride with Balloons Over America
Hot air balloon flights usually stretch from about 5 to 10 miles depending on factors like fuel, wind speed, and landing sights. Our flights will float about 2000 feet from the ground to afford you the best, up-close views of the countryside below, skimming the treetops. The balloons drift at about 10 miles per hour, which feels like floating on a cloud. There is really no sensation of movement and there is peaceful silence aside from overhearing the occasional dog barking or conversation.
